UC Master Math Overview and benefits

The UC Master Math Singapore math (also known as Singapore Math), method is a highly effective teaching approach originally developed by Singapore’s Ministry of Education for Singapore public schools. The method has been widely adopted in various forms around the world over the past twenty years this program remained the only series used in Singaporean classrooms. which is one of the most successful math program in the world – according to the Trends in International Maths & Science Study (TIMMS) survey.

UC Master Math introduce of the curriculum to Qatar in 2019 . UC Master MATH is extremely clear, highly logical and sequential, with a strong focus on “mental math.” Students get the right amount of practice without too much repetition. Challenging word problems build thinking skills and students apply math in a variety of situations. The program teaches geometry throughout.

The UC Master Math Singapore Math Approach to Mathematics combines the benefits of personalized training with the discipline of self-learning and self-discovery and is an amalgamation of books and classroom based guidance. New concepts are introduced in incremental steps to make learning easier. During each session, our qualified UC Master Math teacher explains the new concepts and objective. Corrections from previous homework are also discussed and explained. Student then reinforces and applies this knowledge on their own at home through our meticulously designed daily workbook

The term was coined in the Qatar to describe an approach originally developed in Singapore to teach students to learn and master mathematical concepts at greater detail as well as having them learn these concepts using a three-step learning process: Concrete, Pictorial, and Abstract. In the concrete step, students engage in hands-on learning experiences using concrete objects such as chips, dice, or paper clips. This is followed by drawing pictorial representations of mathematical concepts. Students then solve mathematical problems in an abstract way by using numbers and symbols.

Depending on his/her age, the test either is supervised by trained Singapore Master Math teachers or is individually completed by the student. Thereafter, the teacher determines the ideal entry point for the student, and he/she will be given a set of daily workbook pages to be completed at home. These worksheets are specially designed to break down mathematical concepts into easily understood, bite sized pieces that the student can absorb quickly, and complete the worksheets within 30 minutes without interruption. In addition, he/she needs to attend classes once or twice a week. In this way, the student will not be overburdened, or overwhelmed by the volume and difficulty of the homework
